Thomas Pairon was born in Belgium in 1992. He received the electrical engineering degree from Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he has been active on the study of the RF front-ends of radar transceivers for localization purposes. This work has been funded by BESTCOM. He is now PhD candidate at UCL (funded by FRS-FRIA). His research studies the RCS simulation of large moving objects – such as windtubines – with interests on the Doppler features of such rotating targets.

His research interests include physical optics, fast integral methods, Doppler signature and radars.

Thomas is also musician and likes going out of the office for some fresh air, nature, and climbing.
